The Hide is a unique holiday experience situated within
private farm land.
Bordering The Kings Forest in the beautiful Brecklands, Suffolk, you have direct access to miles of unspoiled forest tracks - perfect for long walks, bike rides and nature-spotting.
Our objective at The Hide is to provide the perfect retreat in which you can switch off, relax and escape in to the great outdoors.

Our beautiful larch-clad panoramic cabin ideally sleeps 2 adults and two children, providing one king-sized bed in a separate bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed located in the main communal living space.
Please note that we unfortunately cannot accommodate dogs in the cabin.
LAYOUT
The Cabin has a spacious design which allows free movement throughout, consisting of a generous communal living area with kitchen and dining space - perfect for those cooler days when you wish to dine indoors.
There is a private shower room with shower, toilet, basin and
heated towel rail.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a double
electric induction hob, oven, fridge with icebox compartment, kettle and toaster - along with all the utensils, cookware & tableware you would usually find in a well equipped kitchen.
To the outside, the cabin has it's own private handcrafted raised decked dining area, with table, chairs and parasol. Down the steps, to the front, is a further area where you will find a barbecue.
THE ESSENTIALS
Parking for two cars is available to the rear of the private cabin.
We provide Wifi via a 4g router so at times, depending on usage, download times may be slower.
- YOUR STAY AT THE HIDE -
INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY
All bedding and bed linens are included in your stay
(for both the double bed and sofa bed) along with hand
and bath towels. In the shower room you will find shower and hand products which are also included in your stay.
A BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking, which includes one instant-light charcoal bag. Further packs can be added when making your booking direct, or alternatively feel free to bring your own charcoal.
Local coffee & tea is included in your stay and we will leave you a pint of milk to set you up for your first mornings brew. Olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar are all provided. A variety of hampers can be added to your booking and can be waiting upon arrival - and should you have a special request or special occasion, please contact us as we will happily try to accommodate your request.
Local maps, books of interest, a few novels, boardgames and playing cards are also provided.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Arrival is from 3pm with a self check-in facility (details of this will be emailed to you prior to your arrival) and we ask that you vacate the cabin by 10am on your day of departure.

The Local Area
Nature on your doorstep
THE HIDE is nestled on the edge of The Kings Forest - so you are only ever a 2 minute walk in to immersive nature and habitat.
Frequently spotted here are herds of Red Deer, numerous species of Birds of Prey and incredible sunsets can all be taken in from the deck of your private cabin.
THE HIDE is situated on low intensity farmland and we work hard to protect the beautiful habitat that surrounds us here in Wordwell.
